Nashi and I were talking and we realized...
The Jak fandom is dying. All the big names out there are either consumed with actual life or jumping ship.
Eno, while keeping up JakXcomic, has apparently dropped TnT and has moved to TMNT
Kei, while also sticking with JakXcomic when she can, has moved her chibis to KH
Queenie has been eaten by art school, but maybe she's come back to us
Demyrie has been swallowed by real life
Natalie79 does her own characters now, when she even posts, so its a safe bet she's busy with RL
Weilla, on the writing front, is off to Germany to hang and study which is great (and apparently has fallen in love with WoW)
Edit: VA--I can't believe I forgot her! Silly Blu--VA's off in life and spiderman, bless her heart
There's others, I know, that have been gone for longer and...God, it depresses me. I love this fandom and apparently I came too late. Its already wilting by the time I've really hit my peak and can really start expressing myself in it.
...and you know what the weirdest thing is? Those are all girls. Every one of them. There are NO vocal males in the Jak fandom. 'Parently, every guy that's picked up the game either royally sucked at art or writing or were too distracted by the boobs and guns and racing to care about the gapping plot holes ND left us to fix.
...ugh.
So yeah. If any Jaktards are out there reading this? Leave a comment. Let me know you're still out there. This is kinda scaring me that in maybe the next couple months there might just be me and the Brainclones.

That's just me though. I think over all, people are falling out of the fandom because its over. There hasn't been proof of a new jak tittle in a long time, and people are just moving on. Nothing against the games though.

...Dunno if I wholly count since I just draw inane fanart and can't even come up with fic for it, but... I at least partially count as being in the fandom. 8D
(I have been noticing that the fandom's been waning... there's a ton of old, awesome stuff out there but nothing new. All the good art and stories I found were made or begun years ago, which saddens me a bit since I hadn't even heard of the games while the fandom was apparently at its peak XD; )

Leave a comment- Not because the artist is your friend, not because you want em to be your friend, but to simply prove that their hard work is noticed
(There is not enough good fic in this fandom, either ): It did not take nearly enough time for me to reach the point where I figured 'all right... I think I've found all that I'll ever find, short of fics that haven't been posted yet'.)
And, y'know, when someone's trying to get comfort because something they care about is going to pot, that's a really bad way of trying to give it. You don't tear down what someone cares about when they feel like they're losing it.
That's just...guh. I'm out of words. Jeez.
