Well, now, this may come as a surprise to a few of you, but in my Sophomore year, I founded the Topeka High Anime Club. Two years later, I finally have something ready for the first meeting!

Today made me really excited for our meeting after school Thursday. It was club sign-up day, and without any bribery, I got fourty-seven people to write down their names and emails for me. Everyone else was handin' out candy by the butt-loads. Me? I was just loud.

Forty. Seven.

Last year, I think we got sixty, only because we gave ramen out to everyone who signed up. Only around 18 were devoted enough to make it to Naka-kon (the convention we go to every spring over in Kansas City. You can't go unless you've been to a certain number of meetings.) This year? If we don't pass twenty...four, I'll be freaking surprised.
